About Tom
Tom Parker is a writer based in Seattle, Washington. With an educational background that includes an undergraduate History degree and M.B.A., Tom has written professionally on business and technical topics, but his passion for travel and the world of wine led to writing on these subjects. In 2002, Tom wrote the book, “Discovering Washington Wines: An Introduction to One of the Most Exciting Premium Wine Regions.”
He has traveled extensively through wine regions in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Other destinations have included the UK, Denmark, St. Helena Island, Mauritius, India, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Tom documents journeys with his own still photographs and is in the process of adding video to his repertoire of reporting tools.
